ABC’s Chronicle highlights Massachusetts sober organizations, while tying in the importance of a healthy community for people in recovery from substance use disorder

On September 9th, 2019 Chronicle aired a piece on the rise of sober homes and recovery organizations in communities around Massachusetts. It had a strong message of the importance sober homes and organizations such as WellStrong, which bring community and connection to people recovering from substance use disorder. As pointed out by WellStrong studio manager, Sarah Roberrs, “life is better when you’re not alone”. “Group exercise is emotionally therapeutic” says a Chronicle reporter. The piece shows how many people wouldn’t be sober today without places like WellStrong and other sober living communities.
