Founder, Amy Doherty, Honored with Induction to 2019 Class of Unsung Heroines
On Tuesday June 18, 2019, Amy Doherty, founder of WellStrong was honored by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women at their Sixteenth Annual Unsung Heroines Celebration. Annual Unsung Heroine honors go to incredible women who have been nominated by legislators from their districts and selected for their contributions to their community and the Commonwealth.
Unsung Heroines are women who don’t always make the news, but truly make the difference in their communities, businesses, or volunteer endeavors.
Amy was selected because she is a woman who, without fanfare or recognition, uses her time, talent, spirit, and enthusiasm to enrich the lives of others.
